Job Title: Design and Quality Engineer
Location: Basingstoke
Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Contract Details: Permanent

Responsibilities:
As a Design and Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards to meet ISO 9001:2015 requirements:


  • Leading design projects from concept through to production, ensuring optimal functionality and aesthetics.
  • Developing and implementing quality assurance protocols to maintain product excellence.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address and resolve design and quality issues.
  • Conducting rigorous testing and analysis to validate product performance and reliability.
  • Utilising CAD software for design modifications and improvements.
  • Preparing detailed documentation and reports for design reviews and quality assessments.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.

What we're Looking For:
We seek a proactive, enthusiastic individual with a passion for design and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have:


  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a design and quality engineering role, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
