Deputy Nursery Manager (supernumerary) - Location: Knowle Green Day Nursery, Staines, TW18 1AJ. Nursery capacity: 133 places. Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Working pattern: Varied shifts Monday Friday between 06 30, with a choice of 4 or 5 day week. Salary: £35,178 £40,033.50 per annum (pro rata). Responsible to: Nursery Manager.
Responsibilities- Achieve occupancy, budget, recruitment and retention targets.
- Implement the nursery's corporate plan and uphold its reputation in the local community.
- Take full operational responsibility for the nursery in the absence of the Nursery Manager.
- Qualified early years professional with a DfE approved qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Currently working in a leadership capacity in an early years environment (e.g., Third in Charge, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager).
- Experience in building and retaining a knowledgeable and happy workforce, using positive role modelling and performance review processes.
- Strong commitment to safeguarding, ensuring the well being of children and colleagues.
- Collaborative, capable of working with the Nursery Manager and wider team to meet targets.
