Job Description

In this Deputy Home Manager role, you'll help lead a residential care home for older adults where maintaining high standards of care is a daily priority. Working alongside the Home Manager, you'll support the team, oversee care delivery, and help keep the service operating at the level that has earned it a Good CQC rating.

What You'll Need
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)

What You'll Do
  • Support the Home Manager with daily oversight of the residential care home
  • Supervise staff, guide shift leaders, and ensure safe staffing and care delivery
  • Monitor care plans and documentation to maintain CQC compliance and quality standardsRespond to issues on shift and make operational decisions when the manager is absent
  • Work alongside carers and senior staff to maintain consistent care for older residents
  • Assist with staff supervision, training, and performance monitoring
