Deputy Headteacher

Contract type: Permanent
Salary: L4-8 (£55,747-£61,534)
Required for: September 2026

Responsibilities
  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner who makes the best use of research-based strategies and technology to enhance learning experiences for pupils
  • Have experience of supporting colleagues to successfully improve their own practice through coaching and modelling
  • Contribute to the day to day running of the school to support the Headteacher and other leaders with the management of safeguarding, personal wellbeing and behaviour
  • Have made a measurable difference to standards in a core curriculum area - ideally English/Writing
  • Be ambitious, demonstrating commitment to their own leadership journey
  • Actively promote the Christian vision and values which are the foundation of everything we do
  • Be committed to go the extra mile to support colleagues, pupils, their families, and the wider community
