Title: Deputy Head of HR
Location: London area
Salary: £55,000/Yr. - £61,000/Yr.
Type: Permanent | Hybrid 3 days/week
An exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a growing, values-led education organisation as Deputy Head of HR. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will help shape and deliver the people strategy, providing expert guidance on employee relations, organisational change, talent management, workforce planning, and HR compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deputise for the Head of HR and lead the delivery of HR services.
- Manage complex employee relations and organisational change matters.
- Lead recruitment, talent management, succession planning, and retention initiatives.
- Ensure safeguarding, compliance, and safer recruitment processes are maintained.
- Support and develop the HR team while driving continuous improvement.
About You:
- Extensive experience working within a multi academy trust.
- Degree educated or equivalent experience.
- Strong HR leadership experience within a complex organisation.
- Excellent knowledge of employment law and employee relations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities.
