Job vacancy information:Department:Retail, Services and OperationsLocation:Ilkley, West YorkshireSalary:£24,242 per annum (pro-rated to £9,828 based on 15 hours per week)Closing Date:23 September 2025Hours:Part-time, 15 hours per week, with flexibility for sickness and holidayTerm:Permanent Deputy Charity Shop Manager content About the roleWe are currently looking for a Deputy Shop Manager who will initially support us in our Ilkley Shop, working with the Shop Manager to lead a team of volunteers and play an active part in running the shop.On an ongoing basis, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the shop in the absence of the Shop Manager, including managing a team of volunteers, ensuring accurate accounting and handling of assets, delivering high standards of customer service, and adhering to all charity policies and procedures. You will lead by example and ensure that volunteers, supporters, donors, and customers understand how their contributions are making a difference to the lives of people in Yorkshire and beyond.You will need to be committed to creating a welcoming professional atmosphere and demonstrating the values of Yorkshire Cancer Research.
