DEPARTMENT: BBC Public Service Broadcast - HR People Analytics & Insights
LOCATION: Hybrid (1-2 days per week in the office)

PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £55,000 - £70,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The role of Delivery Manager is pivotal in transforming how we deliver impactful data products and insights to all of our leaders. Supporting the team in understanding customers' needs, structuring and managing delivery in an agile way and ultimately ensuring we deliver the best possible products for our customers.

People Analytics & Insights within HR are playing a pivotal role in enabling the modernisation of data capabilities and intelligence at the BBC. Developing and implementing the systems, processes and data which underpin our extended workforce is a key, BBC-wide program of work.

This team's strategy is to enable our people, managers, and leaders across the BBC to understand and enhance the richness of our talented, diverse and representative workforce, through the delivery of trusted, valuable and insightful data products.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBLITIES AND IMPACT
  • Bring your experience of delivery methodologies to coach and enable the team to deliver in the most effective way possible.
  • Connect with our customers to understand their challenges and opportunities and work with the technical product owner to deliver great solutions.
  • Help the team build a plan with key milestones and product increments, managing stakeholder expectations and risk.
  • Coach the team on agile principles and methodologies.
  • Connect with the wider delivery community to align practices and extend our impact.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments, managing multiple sprints.
  • Agile qualification (CSM / PSM / RTE).
  • Experience facilitating large requirements & prioritisation workshops.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence & Sharepoint.
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
  • Product Management.
  • Business Analysis.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Data Analysis.
