Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor

Overview

A leading national defendant firm is seeking a Solicitor (PQE 1-5) to join its established Defendant Personal Injury team, with opportunities available in either Birmingham or Leeds.

The practice is well recognised for its work across the healthcare and insurance sectors, advising a strong portfolio of public sector and private clients on high quality EL/PL matters. This role offers exposure to a broad mix of pre litigation and litigated work within a reputable and growing team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Fast Track and lower value Multi Track EL/PL claims, while also assisting senior colleagues on more complex and higher value matters.
• Solid experience in assessing liability, causation and damages is essential.
• Exposure to human rights or data breach claims would be advantageous.
• Strong case management skills and experience within defendant, insurer side, or mixed PI practices will be key to success in this role.
