Solicitor - Insurance Litigation

About the Role:

A prestigious law firm in Belfast is currently seeking a highly skilled Solicitor to join their Insurance Litigation team. This role offers the chance to work within a leading legal practice that is renowned for handling complex and high-value litigation cases across a variety of sectors, including personal injury, clinical negligence, and industrial disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a broad range of insurance litigation matters, providing expert legal representation in court and alternative dispute resolution settings.
  • Deliver exceptional legal advice and service to a diverse portfolio of clients, maintaining and building strong client relationships.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and briefs, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Work closely with senior solicitors and partners to develop legal strategies and achieve successful outcomes for clients.
  • Stay current with developments in insurance law and relevant case law, applying this knowledge to ongoing cases.

Candidate Profile:

  • A qualified Solicitor with a practicing certificate in Northern Ireland.
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in insurance litigation, with a experience handling a varied caseload.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • A proactive and client-focused approach, with a strong sense of commercial acumen. The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
