In-house Debt Litigation Lawyer - major UK organisation (Shrewsbury, hybrid)

We are working with a household name, major UK organisation in their search for an experienced debt recovery solicitor or legal executive.

On the back of the recent Mazur judgement, the business is looking to streamline and further professionalise its debt litigation strategy and is seeking a lawyer with debt litigation expertise to play a lead role in shaping that.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team and provide strategic leadership in debt litigation.
• Conduct horizon scanning and ensure the organisation stays on the front foot and well protected from a debt litigation perspective.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experienced debt recovery solicitor or legal executive with a daily focus on debt litigation matters, or a general commercial litigation lawyer who focuses on debt litigation as part of their day to day practice.
• Seeking a more strategic role with higher level of impact and influence within a highly supportive in house legal team.

The business operates a hybrid working policy, so office contact is required in the Shrewsbury office 2 3 days per week.
