In the Dealer Services Agent role, you will bring structure to complex applications, communicate clearly with key stakeholders, and contribute to safer, smarter lending decisions within a compliance-led environment.
What You Will Do:- Make accurate credit assessments for both personal and commercial lending, reviewing financial statements, credit reports, business plans, and relevant industry information.
- Deliver sound lending decisions in line with this company's credit policy, risk appetite, and regulatory guidelines.
- Resolve dealer queries on credit applications, processes, and policies via phone and email.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, operations, and collections, and share underwriting decisions clearly with external partners.
- Ensure every underwriting activity meets legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements.
- Support continuous improvement by contributing ideas to strengthen underwriting processes and policies.
- A strong interest in finance, credit underwriting, and financial analysis.
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced contact centre environment.
- Confidence working with financial information, including P&L, balance sheets, cash flow and key ratios.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret information quickly and accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make reasoned decisions under pressure.
- Clear communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts in a straightforward way to different audiences.
This Dealer Services Agent position plays a vital part in this company's mission to provide innovative, customer-focused vehicle financing solutions. By assessing creditworthiness responsibly and resolving dealer queries efficiently, the role helps maintain a high-quality service for customers and supports growth across retail and commercial markets, all while operating within a robust compliance framework.
Location:Based in Manchester, the role will involve hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days per week on site, with flexibility on required office days. During the initial training period, the role will be fully based on site.
