Day Shift Warehouse Operatives - Immediate Start

Pertemps BOC is recruiting Day Shift Warehouse Operatives for an immediate start in Faversham. These full-time, temporary positions offer flexible hours with a salary of £13.38 to £15.01 per hour, including premium rates for weekends and overtime. Duties involve picking food products using a voice pick system for a supermarket, working within chilled and ambient environments. Key skills include attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions. Shift start times are 8am or 9:30am, with regular overtime available during peak periods. Salary and Rates

• Basic Rate: Monday to Friday £13.38 per hour
• Weekend Rate: Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays £15.01 per hour

Premium Rates and Overtime

• Premium Rates paid over 40 hours at 10% extra
• Premium Rates paid for weekends at 10% extra
• Regular overtime in peak periods

Responsibilities

• Picking food products using a top voice pick system for a well-known supermarket
• Working in a chilled and ambient environment
• Breaking down and allocating goods
• Achieving targets and job standards set out by the shift manager
• Other duties which may include heavy lifting

Ideal Candidate Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided
• Must have a good attention to detail
• Must have a positive attitude and be extremely reliable
• Ability to work under pressure, and to deadlines
• Punctual with excellent timekeeping and attendance
