Data/Platform Engineer - IBM MQ vacancy for a globally operating Switzerland based company in the banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Design, implement, and maintain Data Lake architectures for banking systems.

• Develop data pipelines and ETL processes for seamless data integration and management.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the process.

• Optimize data storage, retrieval, and batch automation processes for performance and efficiency.
  
  
• Implement IBM MQ as a new technology for messaging and integration.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Proven experience in data engineering with a focus on platform integration.

• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with a good understanding of data engineering concepts.

• Experience with Data Lake technologies and frameworks.

• Familiarity with Kafka for Real Time data streaming and event-driven architectures.

• Experience with batch automation processes for large-scale data workflows.

• Previous exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar).

• IBM MQ experience or knowledge of its integration as a messaging solution.

• Strong understanding of data modelling and database design.

• Language skills: English.
