Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office

Hiring for an seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join a secure data environment within Platform Services. You will be responsible for the performance, integrity, availability, and security of enterprise database systems supporting critical services. This is a hands-on DBA role within a highly secure, delivery-focused environment.

Responsibilities include:

* Install, configure and maintain DBMS platforms
* Monitor performance and optimise database operations
* Troubleshoot and resolve database incidents
* Manage backups and recovery processes
* Implement and maintain database security controls
* Manage user access, roles and privileges
* Design and optimise database structures and queries
* Perform performance tuning and capacity planning
* Define and enforce data standards and best practice
* Provide technical support and guidance
* Produce documentation and performance reports

Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Database Administrator
* Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar
* Experience in performance tuning, backup & recovery, and database security
