Database Administrator

Our client is looking for a Database Administrator to join their team on a six month initial contract, working hybrid three days a week onsite in Manchester. This role would be working via umbrella.

• Hands on experience with database administration specifically focusing on MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
• Adept at working with database software to store, organize, and manage data efficiently.
• Expert knowledge in RDBMS and NoSQL data stores, with experience handling various data structures including JSON and XML.

• Keep databases up to date, troubleshoot issues, and assist with database design and development.
• Manage database access, security, integrity, and backup procedures.
• Design and implement maintenance procedures.
• Interact with programmers, applications/operational staff, IT project managers, and other technical staff.
