Data Scientists - Multiple Contract Opportunities

AMS are looking for multiple Data Scientists to join an expanding AI Business Solution within our Global Consulting client's UK business. These are initial 12-month contracts supporting exciting new functionality across projects in a range of businesses and industry verticals, offering the opportunity to shape the future of data-driven organisations.

The roles will require an ability to creatively use data to solve business challenges, often uncovering new and transformative opportunities along the way. Applying advanced analytics, quantitative tools, and modelling techniques, the Data Scientist will interpret and offer recommendations based on insights from the data.

These roles require the ability to be a problem solver, data expert, analyst, and communicator, who can create new algorithms from scratch.

Ideally candidates will have an advanced degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, engineering, physics, statistics or applied mathematics, and a familiarity with statistical and data-mining techniques, alongside a strong knowledge of programming languages, with a focus on machine learning and advanced analytics (such as R, Python, and Scala).

In addition, the role requires experience working with large data sets and relational databases and excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse issues, identify causes, and recommend solutions quickly.

We will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
