Role Overview: As a Data Scientist in the Data Enlightenment team, you will empower TheFork with a strong data foundation and culture, leveraging Data Science and AI to lead marketplace innovations. You will report to the Data Science Manager and collaborate with a team of 3 Data Scientists.

You will be onboarded within a product team to accelerate their strategy and projects using Data Science/ML/AI. You will work on TheFork B2C (website/app) and B2B (TheFork Manager) products, developing a deep understanding of their value proposition to deliver top-tier data/AI components.

The team is also responsible for building the AI/ML platform, involving ML ops activities, and working closely with Data Ops and other technical stakeholders to define tools and processes for AI/ML product deployment.

Potential projects include:

• Building recommendation algorithms for app/website integration
• Enhancing restaurant ranking in search engines
• Classifying restaurants based on reviews, images, menus, etc.
• Using GenAI to generate restaurant descriptions from reviews

In ML ops, you may:

• Create dashboards to monitor AI/ML project costs
• Automate ML model deployment and lifecycle management
• Monitor GenAI and ML system performance

Expected outcomes include delivering high business value, impactful projects around personalization, search, content, forecasting, and GenAI, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure scalable, performant, and cost-efficient assets. The goal is to elevate the Data Enlightenment team's expertise in Deep Learning and related fields, and improve the AI/ML technical stack.

Candidate Profile:

• Master's Degree from an Engineering School in mathematics, computer science, or Data Science, or a PhD in related fields
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer
• Experience integrating AI/ML into B2C/B2B products used by millions
• Strong analytical skills, data modeling, and insight extraction
• Knowledge of Deep Learning and topics like Computer Vision, NLP, Ranking, Recommendation
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for developing and industrializing POCs
• Expertise in Data Science industrialization (ML Engineering)
• Professional English language skills
• Based in Paris
