Job Description

• Work with data scientists, analysts, engineers and product management to

implement enhancements, develop new features and work through business

requirements into our data science and analytics initiatives.

• Deliver on a wide spectrum of data-related tasks, ranging from reporting and

analytics requests, to the implementation and analysis of machine learning

models

• Develop good quality code that is easily scaled and automated

• Work alongside engineers to ensure seamless integration of your work with tools

that are live in a production environment

Besides driving the transformation into a data-driven enterprise in general, here

are some specific projects you will work on and contribute to:

• Pricing and Promotion recommendation tools

• Pricing elasticity modeling

About You

• University or advanced degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics,

or a related field

• 4+ years' experience developing data science and analytics solutions in a

business setting

• Experience with regression, linear/non-linear optimization, classification and

segmentation problems

• Strong Python skills required, especially with Pandas, common machine learning

libraries and PySpark

• Strong SQL skills

• Solid analytical skills, ability to derive conclusions and questions from data

patterns

• Efficient with git and Github.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud (GCP), Docker and orchestration tools is a plus

• Experience using visualization tools like Tableau or Looker Studio is a plus

• Understanding of basic software engineering best practices to write reusable

code that can easily go into production

• Team player, always willing to support your colleagues to the best of your ability

• Proactive mindset towards problem-solving, a "can-do" attitude is expected
