Data Science & Gen AI Manager

As part of a global digital and creative consultancy, you will lead data science and Generative AI initiatives that redefine how organisations connect with customers. The Role

As a Data Science & Gen AI Manager, you will provide strategic leadership within a growing data science team of around 10 to 15 consultants. You will shape how data science and Generative AI are applied across customer experience, marketing and digital analytics, while remaining hands on with complex delivery. The role spans technical leadership, people management and commercial responsibility, with accountability for turning advanced analytics and AI into clear business outcomes.

• Lead delivery of data science and Generative AI programmes from strategy to production
• Design, build and assess LLM driven solutions for customer focused use cases
• Set technical direction and best practice across analytics and AI delivery
• Manage, coach and develop high performing data science teams
• Translate complex data into clear, decision ready insight
• Shape proposals, costings and statements of work for client engagements

Requirements Must Have

• Proven experience with data science, machine learning and Generative AI
• Practical experience developing and evaluating Large Language Models
• Leadership experience managing projects and data science practitioners
• Client facing consulting experience with commercial accountability
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance

Nice to Have

• Experience across customer, marketing, commercial or product analytics
• Sector exposure to retail, CPG, telecoms, utilities or energy
• Cloud based AI and data science experience on AWS, Azure or GCP
• Experience shaping analytics or AI operating models
