Are you detail-oriented with a passion for data protection and compliance? We're looking for a Temporary Data Protection Assistant to join our team in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of GDPR and data handling practices to make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities
1. Data Handling and Processing
Support the management and execution of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
Assist in investigating data breaches and recommending mitigations.
Contribute to Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new projects.
Handle data correction, deletion, and portability requests.
Ensure DPIAs are properly documented and reviewed.
2. Data Compliance Monitoring
Monitor data processing activities for regulatory compliance.
Assist in updating data protection policies and internal procedures.
3. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of data protection activities, incidents, and training.
Prepare reports for management and stakeholders.
4. Training and Awareness
Support the development and delivery of staff training and awareness programs.
5. General Duties
Undertake other relevant tasks as required within the scope of the role.

What We're Looking For
Solid understanding of data protection laws, especially GDPR.
Experience with data protection tools and technologies.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
