A leading consulting firm is seeking a Data Lead to build and expand its Insurance Data Practice. This senior role will drive the development of Data and AI services, lead a multidisciplinary team and shape the strategic direction for a growing portfolio of data-focused client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Data Strategy & Practice Leadership

• Define the vision and roadmap for the firm's data practice, ensuring long-term capability growth.
• Lead and mentor the data team, establishing best practices, delivery frameworks and a culture of innovation.
• Expand current strengths in data migration toward broader offerings such as:
• Data visualization
• Data governance
• Advanced analytics
• AI solutions

Client Delivery & Solution Development

• Oversee the design and implementation of data solutions that support major transformation programs in the insurance sector.
• Ensure high-quality delivery and act as a senior advisor in complex data environments.
• Shape new propositions and solution architectures that address evolving client needs.

Business Development & Growth

• Support the expansion of the client portfolio by positioning the data practice as a strategic partner.
• Develop new service offerings and contribute to go-to-market initiatives.
• Drive sustainable growth by aligning data capabilities with market opportunities.

Required Experience

• Proven experience building or scaling a data capability within a consultancy or data-driven organization.
• Insurance knowledge
• Strong background in data management, data engineering, analytics, or AI.
• Experience working in complex, regulated environments-insurance sector experience is a plus.
• Ability to articulate a clear, compelling vision for data-driven transformation.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
• Dutch & French speaker
