With the migration of legacy data onto GCP almost done, the challenge now is to define and deliver a path forward towards a GCP native environment, and the Data Platform Director will be responsible for this.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize the platform we have.
- Integrate Data Ops tools.
- Integrate reporting tools.
Our client requires an expert who can lead and deliver on Technical Strategy. The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and expertise to challenge the current Data Stack if necessary and advise on improvements.
The individual will lead a team of 100 persons locally, with approximately 1000 outsourced.
Outsourcing:
The business currently has contracts with TCS, Cap Gemini, Accenture, and a few other smaller firms. The ideal candidate would have strong knowledge of outsourcing and experience in restructuring outsourcing contracts and processes based on strategic best practices.
