Data Modelling Lead

The Role:

Our client is a consultancy delivering a project for a global cybersecurity technology company. They're looking for a Data Modelling Lead to own the design and delivery of its enterprise data model. You'll build structures people can trust and reuse, and that scale as the business grows. They'll feed reporting, analytics, governance and AI work across the organisation.

What you'll be doing:

- Building conceptual, logical and physical data models across the main business domains

- Setting and maintaining shared business definitions, metrics and semantic models

- Working with BA's, the lead BA and domain owners to turn business needs into scalable data structures.

- Leading the design of gold layer data products and reusable data assets

- Making sure models meet governance, lineage and data quality standards.

- Giving AI, reporting and analytics teams solid, well-structured data to work from.

- Setting modelling standards, documentation and best practice across the programme.

- Working closely with data engineers, architects and governance teams to keep the platform consistent

- Coaching project teams on modelling approaches and enterprise data design.
