Data Engineers - Multiple Contract Opportunities

AMS are looking for multiple Data Engineers to join an expanding AI Business Solution within our Global Consulting client's UK business. These are initial 12-month contracts supporting exciting new functionality across projects in a range of businesses and industry verticals, helping to build mission-critical software and architecture.

Laying the groundwork for data analysis and experimentation, these roles will help to guide clients through the digital landscape with a sharp eye on what's important for them. It will involve cleaning, transforming, and aggregating data; compiling and installing database systems; writing complex queries; scaling to multiple machines; and putting disaster-recovery systems in place.

Applicants will have an advanced degree in computer science (or the equivalent) and a passion for big-data technologies.

Hands-on experience in building data solutions for advanced analytics and a deep knowledge of big-data technologies, such as Hadoop and Spark are essential. Solid programming skills in Python, Java, SQL querying, and Scala and familiarity with advanced-analytics tools, such as Anaconda or Spark for machine learning are also required.

This is a client facing environment so excellent collaboration and communication skills with teams and clients alike, is imperative.
