The Role

They are looking for a Data/Machine Learning Engineer to join our cross-functional tech team. In this role, you'll design and deploy scalable ML models and data pipelines that fuel everything from demand forecasting to customer behavior analysis.


What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT) from diverse retail data sources.
  • Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models for applications such as personalization, dynamic pricing, fraud detection, and inventory forecasting.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to translate business needs into ML solutions.
  • Optimize model performance, monitor production systems, and ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Help shape data and ML best practices across the company.


What They are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience as a data engineer, ML engineer, or a related role.
  • Strong Python skills, with experience in ML frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, distributed systems, and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Airflow, Snowflake, Redshift, Kafka).
  • Experience deploying ML models to production environments (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, etc.).
  • Familiarity with retail metrics and challenges is a plus (e.g., customer lifetime value, basket analysis, supply chain optimization).
