We're working with a global leader in the maritime space who are undergoing major digital transformation. They've built a centralised data platform and are now looking for a Data Engineer to help scale it across the business.

You'll be part of a cross-functional team, delivering robust and scalable data products, improving data pipelines, and working directly with stakeholders to drive value from data. It's a great opportunity to take ownership of projects, mentor junior team members, and make a real impact in a complex, data-rich environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain modern data pipelines and products.
• Own the end-to-end life cycle of engineering deliverables.
• Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and deliver insights.
• Improve data tooling, frameworks, and processes.
• Mentor junior colleagues and lead knowledge-sharing sessions.

What you'll need:

• Solid experience in data engineering.
• Strong SQL and experience with tools like SSIS and SSAS.
• Background in data modelling and business-facing work.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bonus points for experience with Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or DevOps tools.
