Data Engineer

Job Title: Data Engineer (Mid-Senior)
Type: Full-Time Contract
Duration: 6months + (extendable)
Location: Remote (EU-based only) - Must be EU Citizens

We're seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and support a Business Transformation Solutions project focused on deploying Large Language Models (LLMs) and machine learning solutions using Azure ML.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines in Azure.

• Ingest and transform BI sales and other data for ML model consumption.

• Collaborate with Data Scientists to deploy ML models to production.

• Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and security.

• Use Azure tools (Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, etc.) to automate workflows.

• Support LLM integration and contribute to MLOps development.

Requirements

• 5+ years as a Data Engineer, with strong Azure experience.

• Proficient in Python, SQL, and/or Scala.

• Skilled in ETL/ELT processes, data lakes, and cloud-native architectures.

• Strong knowledge of relational/NoSQL databases and big data tools.

• Familiar with MLOps and CI/CD principles.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Must be based in the EU.

Nice to Have

• Experience with streaming data (Kafka, Event Hubs).

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Git.

• Understanding of ML life cycle and deployment.
