Data Engineer - Microsoft Azure - PG4194

1. Responsibilities:
   • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions and pipelines using Microsoft Azure, translating architectural designs into technical implementations for data acquisition, processing, storage, and insights.
   • Improve and automate existing data workflows and business automations to enhance data quality and streamline processes, leveraging Azure technologies for better performance and reliability.
   • Create interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations; optimize data models and DAX calculations for accuracy and performance.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored data solutions that meet business needs.
   • Establish and promote best practices in data management and governance, guide in structuring cloud environments, and support data initiatives and future projects.
2. Qualifications:
   • Proficiency in Databricks, Python/PySpark, and SQL/SparkSQL.
   • Experience with Big Data/ETL processes, preferably Spark and Databricks.
   • Expertise in Azure cloud platform.
   • Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
   • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
   • Knowledge of DAX and Power BI front-end development.
   • Understanding of Data Models.
   • Familiarity with Agile SCRUM and DevOps methodologies.
   • Proficiency in English and at least a Bachelor's Degree.
3. Additional Information:
   • This role is based in our Weybridge office, requiring up to 5 days per week onsite, with a minimum of Tuesday to Thursday.
