Data & Analytics Executive

About The Role:

Zeno London is looking for a Data & Analytics Executive to join our growing team of specialists who use data to make sense of an increasingly complex marketing landscape.

As an analyst, you will be involved at the heart of everything that Zeno does, from generating insights for new business pitches, using data storytelling to inform brand strategies that will help propel our clients and the company forward, and using your keen eye for numbers to analyse client performance and identify those key areas for improvement.

The ideal candidate will be someone who understands the role that data plays in the strategic process, enjoys using data - any data - to tell a story and can unearth those insights that may not appear obvious at first glance. The successful candidate should also be confident presenting their findings to internal stakeholders and clients and building trust and long-lasting collaborative relationships with both.

If you have a strategic mindset and understand the power of data, this role will allow you to apply your skills across our diverse global client portfolio, using our best-in-class tech & tools.

Responsibilities:

As a part of the Strategy & Planning team, this role reports into Zeno London's Data and Analytics Director, who will work with you across global clients, such as Lenovo & The Coca-Cola Company, on a range of projects including:

Cultural Insights - use multiple data sources to build a holistic picture of brand, audience and topic landscapes, finding the insights that will help our clients succeed

Reporting & Dashboarding - build & maintain dashboards for our clients - combining automated and manual data admin - and report back, delivering insights that will allow our clients to iterate and improve their performance.

New Business - assist our strategy and creative teams in winning new clients for the agency by using data and insights that will give us an edge in new business pitches.

About You:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a client-facing analytics/consultant role, ideally in an agency environment.

A demonstrable interest in data storytelling and the role it plays in strategy & creative.

An inquisitive mind and a knack for problem-solving.

Excellent time management skills and highly organised.

Confident presentation skills & a track record of building positive relationships with clients and key internal stakeholders,

Proficiency with media analytics tools such as Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Audiense, GWI, NewsWhip or equivalents.

Proficiency with data visualisation tools, such as PowerBI/Tableau.

Familiarity with graph network analysis tools, such as Graphext or Gephi.

Nice to have - proficiency with programming languages, such as Python, R, SQL etc.

Experience working with and creating dashboards used to inform business decisions.

Experience with paid media measurement and media planning.

Strong grasp of paid offerings on major social networks, including objectives, targeting and campaign best practices.

Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office applications - specifically in Excel (i.e. pivot tables, formulas, VBA, vlookups etc).
