Job Description

Data Analyst

£55,000-£65,000

Windsor (Hybrid - 3x Days a Week in Office)

Are you a hands-on Data Analyst looking to take the next step in your career, working with complex datasets and building analytical solutions that have a tangible impact on business performance? This is an opportunity to join a growing, private equity-backed care provider investing in its data infrastructure and analytics capabilities. With 23 care homes currently operating across the UK and ambitious plans for further expansion, the business is focused on using data to improve operational performance, support better decision-making and ultimately enhance resident care. You'll join a small, developing analytics team where you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful projects, work across multiple data sources and help build the foundations for more advanced analytics and predictive modelling.

The Company

The business operates a growing portfolio of care homes, supporting residents and their families through high-quality care services. With significant amounts of information held across multiple systems, the organisation is investing in modernising its data environment, improving data quality and creating a more connected view of its operations. The business is transitioning towards a modern data platform using Snowflake, creating opportunities to develop new analytical capabilities, improve reporting and introduce predictive models that support both commercial and operational decisions.

The Role

Working closely with the Head of Analytics and a small technical team, you'll play a hands-on role in improving the quality, structure and usability of data across the business. Initially, the focus will be on data cleansing, reconciliation and modelling, with opportunities to contribute to forecasting and predictive analytics as the data environment develops.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Data Quality & Remediation: Cleaning, standardising and validating data from multiple source systems, identifying inconsistencies and ensuring information is accurate and reliable.
  • Data Modelling: Developing robust analytical data models, including dimensional modelling and star schemas, to support reporting and downstream analytics.
  • Identity Resolution: Identifying and reconciling duplicate records across systems, using techniques such as fuzzy matching to create more consistent and reliable datasets.
  • Data Warehousing: Supporting the development of the Snowflake data environment, helping ensure data is structured, accessible and ready for analysis.
  • Reporting & BI: Building analytical outputs and Power BI dashboards that provide stakeholders with clear visibility of business performance.
  • Forecasting & Predictive Analytics: Contributing to models that forecast occupancy, operational performance and resource requirements, helping the business make more informed decisions.
  • Advanced Analytics: Supporting emerging initiatives around resident risk modelling, wellbeing indicators and the use of AI to extract structured information from documents.

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys getting into the detail of complex datasets, solving data problems and translating analysis into practical business outcomes.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with complex datasets.
  • Proficiency in Python, particularly for analytical modelling and predictive analytics.
  • Experience in data cleansing, data quality, reconciliation and standardisation.
  • A good understanding of data modelling principles, ideally including star schemas and dimensional modelling.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar visualisation tools.
  • Exposure to Snowflake or Databricks would be highly advantageous.
  • An interest in forecasting, predictive modelling and applying analytics to real-world business challenges.
  • A STEM-related degree is essential.

You'll be curious, pragmatic and comfortable working in a small team where you'll need to take ownership, get hands-on and contribute across a range of analytical projects.

The Benefits

  • Salary of £55,000-£65,000
