Contract: 12-Month Initial Contract
As a Data Analyst/Research Analyst, you will work hands-on with large-scale government and political data sets, supporting the preparation, validation, and ongoing maintenance of the Managed Partner Set (MPS). You will conduct desk research, apply quality assurance standards, and partner closely with regional stakeholders, data teams, auditors, and engineers.
This position is well-suited to someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and research-driven, with an interest in civic systems, elections, and policy-driven data environments.
Key Responsibilities Data Research & Preparation
- Conduct desk research to gather, validate, and maintain government and political entity data across multiple regions.
- Prepare manual data lists and structured workbooks using public-source research and upstream data sets.
- Support the preparation and ongoing maintenance of the Managed Partner Set (MPS).
- Perform detailed quality assurance checks to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Review completed workbooks and datasets against internal standards and policy guidance.
- Flag data gaps, inconsistencies, and edge cases for review and resolution.
- Leverage data and analytics skills to review data at scale and identify trends, anomalies, or risks.
- Upload validated datasets into CRM systems and internal tools.
- Track and analyze operational metrics to help monitor data quality and process effectiveness.
- Collaborate with GSI partner managers to review datasets and support updates during elections, escalations, and ad-hoc requests.
- Work with engineering teams to test system updates, review data pipeline signals, and identify issues impacting data integrity.
- Engage with data managers, auditors, and cross-functional teams to support audits and compliance reviews.
- Support analysis of complex support workflows to help identify inefficiencies or recurring issues.
- Contribute insights and recommendations for process, policy, and tooling improvements.
- Assist in ensuring data processes align with company policies and enable fair and equitable partner support.
- Experience in data analysis, research, data operations, policy operations, or a related analytical role.
- Strong attention to detail and Experience reviewing large or complex datasets.
- Ability to conduct structured desk research using public or semi-structured data sources.
- Experience working with spreadsheets, workbooks, and CRM tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with government, political, civic, or nonprofit data.
- Familiarity with elections-related or civic programs.
- Experience working with data pipelines or supporting engineering teams.
- Ability to work effectively in time-sensitive environments.
