DCC is at a pivotal point in its evolution. As our initial licence approaches its expiry in September 2025, Ofgem has indicated an extension of 12-36 months to review the DCC's design and objectives, run a procurement process for a Successor Licensee, and facilitate a potential transition away from current shareholder Capita.
To support this next chapter, the People Team is seeking a Data Analyst on a fixed-term basis. This is a new role that will play a vital part in supporting the People Team's data needs-especially in relation to licence renewal and organisational planning.
What will you be doing?- Data Analytics
- Monitor and maintain accurate headcount data via Workday
- Improve the quality and integrity of HR data through updates and validation
- Generate and interpret reports from Workday to support business objectives
- Provide insightful analysis of HR metrics to inform strategic HR decisions
- Support talent and performance cycles with data-driven insights
- Provide accurate, timely data to support Ofgem licence renewal processes
- Respond to ad hoc data requests across the People Team
- Support general administrative tasks to ensure seamless team operations
- Contribute to key reporting cycles, including gender pay gap and payroll reporting
- Support the salary review process, including data analysis and payroll collaboration
- Analyse salary and bonus trends and manage process-critical data
- 2+ years' experience in fast-paced, data-driven environments with reporting/change control duties
- Strong analytical capabilities and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Clear, concise communication skills-especially for non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio, and Power BI
- Self-starter with strong initiative, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Workday is an advantage, but not essential
