Job Description

Key responsibilities

As a Data Analyst, your roles will vary based on client needs. The position is hands-on, supporting projects with a focus on:

  • Data analysis and reporting: Conduct in-depth analyses, generate reports, and provide actionable insights.
  • Data and BI visualisation: Create dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Quicksight.
  • Client interaction: Understand client needs, develop analytical solutions, and present findings clearly.

You will ensure outcomes for users are delivered, considering the broader context of each delivery and aligning operational and analytical aspects.

Skills, knowledge, and expertise

Analysis and synthesis

  • Application of analytical techniques: Proficiency in statistical analysis, data mining, qualitative analysis, selecting appropriate methods based on context.
  • Synthesis of research data: Experience in presenting insights that influence decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Engagement with sceptical colleagues: Effective communication to gain buy-in from skeptical team members.

Data Management

  • Understanding data sources and storage: Familiarity with data sources, organization, and storage practices; commitment to data accuracy.

Data Quality Assurance, Validation, and Linkage
