Role Overview

As a Data Analyst within the UK Data Management Team, you'll be responsible for managing and delivering LH1 Valuation Data. You'll work closely with Lead Analysts and internal clients to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and strategic value across valuation portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleanse, profile, map, and mine client data
• Deliver ad-hoc reports and insights to internal teams
• Gather and document business requirements for data and reporting
• Ensure data consistency in line with treaty arrangements
• Monitor data quality and availability
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to optimize data usage
• Produce clear, accurate written and numerical reports
• Manage work priorities and expectations independently or collaboratively

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong data processing and analysis skills
• Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, Power BI, and advanced Excel
• High-level numerical and analytical capabilities
• Ability to investigate and resolve data issues
• Experience with remote working setups
• Understanding of insurance or reinsurance business
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL)

Qualifications

• A Level in Computer Science, Computing, Mathematics, Business Studies, or equivalent
• Degree or apprenticeship in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (completed or in progress)
