Job Description
There's never been a better time to join the team at our client! They have an ambitious strategy and they want you to be part of it. There are loads of reasons to love cycling, even if you're not someone who cycles. From cutting pollution, to making us healthier and happier, cycling can help us all thrive.
As Cycling Development Officer, you will engage and manage relationships with organisations across Kent to develop community-centred cycling activity, supporting groups to create new cycling opportunities or incorporate cycling into their existing services. Working with a range of partners, including bike recycling centres, youth groups, social enterprises and not-for-profit organisations, you will provide guidance to deliver effective, inclusive and sustainable interventions, helping to increase physical activity, encourage cycling as a mode of transport, and address health, social and economic inequalities within local communities.
If you are enthusiastic about supporting communities and improving access to cycling, they want to hear from you! Explore the attached job description for full details on this exciting opportunity. Complete the application form expressing why you are the right candidate for this opening. This enables the selection panel to assess your relative strengths against the specified criteria.
This role is home-based in Kent with regular travel throughout the area expected - candidates must therefore reside in Kent.
This role is a fixed-term contract until 30 March 2029
