Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Engineering Analyst to join a hands-on security team supporting a complex enterprise environment. This role is suited to someone with broad technical depth across multiple security domains who enjoys working close to real incidents, systems, and operations.

You will play a key role in protecting the organisation by responding to incidents, improving detection and resilience, and strengthening security controls across IT and OT environments.

Example Responsibilities: (experience not necessarily required in all):

• Lead and support security incident response activities, including investigation and remediation

• Own and drive vulnerability management, from identification through to mitigation

• Conduct and coordinate penetration testing, including follow-up actions

• Manage and improve email security controls and threat response

• Support forensics and post-incident analysis

• Contribute to disaster recovery and resilience planning

• Work across IT and OT security domains in an interdisciplinary environment

• Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders on security improvements

Required Experience

• 5-10 years' experience in cybersecurity engineering or security operations

• Strong, hands-on experience across multiple security domains, such as:

  • Network security

  • Email security

  • Vulnerability management

  • Incident response and forensics

  • Disaster recovery

  • OT/industrial security

• Broad, practical understanding rather than a narrow specialism

• Comfortable working in complex, enterprise environments

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Location & Working Model

• Candidate should be based in Germany

• Location is flexible, provided that some on-site presence is possible
