Cyber Security Presales Consultant/Amsterdam/Hybrid

Excellent opportunity for a Fluent Dutch speaking Cyber Security Presales Consultant for a client based in Amsterdam.

This is a highly customer-facing position focused on cybersecurity consultancy, technical presales, solution design and customer engagement.

The client is flexible regarding the exact technical background and employment model. The priority is finding a strong cybersecurity professional who can understand customer requirements and translate them into appropriate technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a cybersecurity subject-matter expert during customer engagements.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Understand customer security requirements and identify appropriate solutions.
• Support sales teams throughout the presales process.
• Design cybersecurity solutions based on customer requirements.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Produce technical proposals and solution documentation.
• Explain complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support solution implementation where required.
• Build strong relationships with customers and technology partners.
• Stay up to date with cybersecurity technologies and market developments.
• Travel to customer sites when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong professional background in Cyber Security/IT Security.
• Previous experience in technical presales, solutions consulting or security consulting.
• Strong customer-facing experience.
• Experience conducting technical discovery and requirements gathering.
• Ability to design and explain cybersecurity solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work closely with sales and technical delivery teams.
• Native/fluent Dutch speaker.
• Experience across areas such as network security, endpoint security, SIEM, IAM, vulnerability management, Firewalls, cloud security or security monitoring would be relevant.

Desirable

• Experience with ManageEngine or other IT/security management platforms.
• SolarWinds experience.
• Experience with cybersecurity vendors and security technologies.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience delivering technical demonstrations or proof-of-concepts.
