Where and How You Will WorkOur vibrant London office is located on the 40th floor of 8 Bishopsgate, offering stunning views of the city and access to an on-site gym. This is a full-time in-office role, giving you the chance to work in an environment that fosters innovation and collaboration, right in the heart of London's dynamic tech scene. In addition, you will join a 1 in 4 24 7 on-call rota, ensuring continuous support and responsiveness as part of our commitment to security and operational excellence.
As part of our Security Operations team, you'll take on projects that are critical to safeguarding our organization-leading efforts in security monitoring, detection engineering, incident response, and proactive threat hunting. Your day-to-day will involve developing and refining detection rules, monitoring security events, automating security operations and responding swiftly and effectively to security incidents. You'll collaborate with experts in application security, cloud, identity and access management, and threat intelligence, while also supporting initiatives in network security, cloud security, and vulnerability management as needed.

- You have a strong detection engineering background with proven experience in detection and response.
- You are passionate about security automation and orchestration, and committed to continuous learning.
- You have hands on experience creating detections using query languages such as Kusto Query Language, Sigma, or equivalent.
- You have experience automating tasks with low code platforms and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Microsoft Logic Apps, or similar solutions.
- You possess in depth knowledge of Azure and Windows security, including TTPs, evidence and effective detection and mitigation strategies.
- You embrace change as an opportunity and adapt quickly in fast paced environments.
- You have 3+ years of proven experience with increasing responsibilities in information security
- You possess an expert level industry security related qualification from ISACA, ISC2, GIAC or similar professional body
- You possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline, or have equivalent experience gained through time in a relevant role.
- Experience with network security and firewall administration, including configuring, maintaining, and monitoring secure network environments, is considered helpful.
- Background in application security, such as identifying and addressing vulnerabilities within software or web applications, would be an asset.
- Skills in reverse engineering, allowing you to analyse software, systems, or code to uncover hidden functions or vulnerabilities, are valued.
- Familiarity with threat intelligence analysis, including the ability to research, interpret, and respond to emerging security threats, would be beneficial.
- Fundamental knowledge in the principles of digital forensics incident response (DFIR) and investigative methodologies.
- Understanding of AI security, including identifying and mitigating risks associated with artificial intelligence systems.
