Cyber Resiliency Architect - Remote

Job Description Summary- Perform backup and recovery of customer data and systems in distributed or cloud environments.
- Implement, administer, and configure cyber resiliency and replication technologies, including backup servers, media servers, tape libraries (physical and virtual), and cloud containers.
- Participate in planning and executing disaster recovery exercises.
- Assess backup environments to identify pain points and develop improvement opportunities.
- Recover customer data and perform business continuity services.
- Diagnose problems and perform root cause analysis of backup and recovery environments.
- Apply automation knowledge to optimize processes.
- Perform incident recovery services.
- Manage and operate IT hardware, software, and communication resources for Hybrid Platform Recovery Services (BaaS, DRaaS, CRaaS), ensuring proper planning, development, delivery, and support of IT services and products.
- Prepare for and manage changes to services, ensuring compliance with regulatory, legal, and professional standards, and monitor system and service performance.

- Designing solutions compliant with UKI regulatory requirements, e.g., PRA SS1/21.
- Designing solutions compliant with EU regulations, e.g., DORA.
- Designing solutions aligned with NIST CSF Respond and Recover domains.
- Developing solutions for full application stack recovery within defined RPO/RTO.
- Supporting business transformation and modernization programs with resilience architecture.
- Advising customers on disaster recovery best practices and mapping business impact tolerances to infrastructure.
- Designing backup and resiliency solutions to meet business impact tolerances, minimizing data loss.
- Developing technical recovery procedures and supporting enterprise recovery testing.
- Holding cloud service provider certifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud security certifications.
- Ability to lead projects independently from start to finish.
- Open Group certification.
- Experience in developing long-term architectural strategies.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or CCSK.
