We are seeking an experienced Cyber Essentials and IASME Governance auditor to support our mission in providing clear and simple cyber advice to SMEs and enable them to achieve the Cyber Essentials government standard and IASME Governance questions.
We want you to have the ambition to seek further cyber security auditing certification which could include Cyber Essentials Plus, IASME Governance, ISO2700.
As an auditor at CyberSmart you will initially be auditing customer submitted Cyber Essentials/IASME Governance questionnaires, using our bespoke web based platform, and providing support to customers via live chat or by answering work tickets.
A key part of your day will not only involve providing security advice and support to our clients, but also providing support for the rest of the team, including Customer Success and Customer Support.
You will own the delivery of Cyber Essentials certifications and will often be called upon to provide accurate security guidance to new and existing customers around the scheme's certification process as well as seeking potential business development opportunities.
As a condition of employment for this role, the successful candidate will have 6 months to successfully achieve the IASME VA+ Assessor qualification. Training and guidance will be provided to assist in the completion of this qualification and all costs involved will be supported.
Key Tasks / Responsibilities
- Timely assessment of all Cyber Essentials submissions - we aim to respond to all submitted certifications within the working day.
- Meet service level agreement targets in responding to live chats
- Continuous professional development that leads to Cyber Essentials Plus qualification as a minimum
- Once qualified, conduct Cyber Essentials Plus auditing either remotely or on-site. Note that on-site audits may require overnight stays away from home, which will be fully funded by the company.
- Provide information security knowledge to clients as they seek certification and internally to Sales and Customer Success Account managers to facilitate development of new opportunities.

- Highly motivated, positive and with excellent interpersonal skills, which you use to deliver quality and success across whatever you do
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak authoritatively with clients about cyber security
