The Amazon Customs and Trade Program and Product team is expanding its footprint, services, and solutions to support our growing client base. Join our dynamic team as a Program Manager and leverage your customs brokerage, international trade, and trade consulting experience to develop a global customs brokerage offering for international traders.

The ideal candidate will be a builder capable of delivering on the vision of expanding ACT brokerage offerings globally, especially in Europe and Asia. Experience in opening branded customs brokerage locations and establishing relationships with external vendors is essential. Success in this role requires strong business judgment, market awareness, and a proven track record of developing and implementing innovative ideas while enjoying the work environment.

Key job responsibilities

1. Launching 1P and 3P customs brokerage solutions as the ACT footprint expands.
2. Developing strategies, planning, and implementing brokerage services, either in-house or through outsourced partners.
3. Identifying go-to-market plans for new brokerage locations worldwide.
4. Maintaining relationships with 3P and 1P brokers to ensure geographic coverage and capabilities meet customer needs.
5. Attracting new customers and internal users to our brokerage solutions.
6. Leading planning, resource allocation, and project execution to meet deadlines and outcomes.
7. Coordinating efforts among team members and stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.
8. Working with program and product managers to define goals, success metrics, and timelines.
9. Monitoring development, identifying risks, and developing mitigation plans.
10. Communicating risks, delays, and changes proactively to stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• Extensive program or project management experience
• Proven team management skills
• Experience in opening customs brokerage locations in multiple countries
• Cross-functional experience working with product, tech, and non-tech teams
• Experience influencing senior executives up to VP level

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, HR, organizational development, or related fields
• Experience leading process improvements
