This is an exciting opportunity to work with global customs & freight within a Global Business Service Centre based in Barcelona supporting the organization in Europe.

Main tasks:


  • Control and account assignment of freight invoices (inbound and outbound).
  • Responsible for the organization and coordination of shipments.
  • Communication with our international sales organizations and close cooperation with other departments.
  • Administration of claim management and insurance cases (damaged and lost shipments).
  • Perform other logistical and administrative tasks as instructed by management or team member.


Responsibilities:


  • Freight charge booking and liaise with other departments within the business to coordinate an effective logistics process, ensuring the highest standard of service to our Customers.


Competences:


  • Structured, analytical and networked thinking and acting.


Languages:


  • English and Spanish (advanced)
  • Additional European languages are a plus


Required Skills (Technical & Personal):


  • Previous experience in a forwarding company in transport operation (At least 5 years experience in the field of transportation).
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • High-level mathematical skills and detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel and Power Point.
  • Strong team player and confident communicator.
  • Utilizing SAP, SAP BW and TMS system daily.
