As a Customer service specialist Logistics you play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience by responding quickly, solving problems, and ensuring shipments run smoothly in a fast-paced international logistics environment. To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or a warehouse environment. Over de functie You will join a close-knit team of five Customer Service specialists and work as an account handler, acting as the primary point of contact for your own portfolio of customers. In this role, you will process orders, keep customers informed about their shipments, coordinate transport activities, and proactively resolve any issues that arise. Are you customer-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in logistics? Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation while liaising with planners and transport providers. Handle claims, returns, and reverse logistics processes. Maintain accurate customer and shipment data in Salesforce and SAP. Over het bedrijf You will be joining a leading international logistics provider specializing in express deliveries, air freight, sea freight, and e-commerce logistics. From multiple locations, including Schiphol, the company provides transportation, warehousing, and customs services for customers worldwide. Your workplace will be located in Oude Meer, near Schiphol Airport. You remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and have a strong customer service mindset. If you have experience with coordinating shipments, transport, or logistics operations that will be a strong advantage. MBO level of working and thinking (vocational education or equivalent). Excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written. 0-3 years of experience in customer service within a logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or warehouse environment (required). A 12-month full-time contract directly with the employer. After that, you can work from home one fixed day per week in consultation with your manager.
