Customer Service Specialist

As a Customer Service Specialist based in Evesham, you will serve as the primary contact for clients, overseeing the entire order process from initiation to delivery. You will manage customer relationships, handle inquiries, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently. This temporary role, paying between £14.36 and £15.38 per hour, involves close collaboration with planning, logistics, production, quality, finance and sales departments to ensure seamless operations and a seamless customer experience. Immediate start is available for an experienced service professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery.
• Monitor customer requirements and communicate any delays or changes proactively.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints, returns and service requests.
• Coordinate urgent shipments where required and track progress through to delivery.
• Work with finance teams to support invoice queries, credit notes and debit notes.
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory management activities.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements to customer service processes.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a customer service or customer account management role.
• Previous experience within manufacturing, packaging, supply chain or a similar environment would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Experience of ERP/CRM systems, SAP, Salesforce and strong Excel skills would be beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
