Working pattern: Monday Thursday 09 00, Friday 09 30
Contract type: 12 month fixed term

OverviewThe City of Wolverhampton Council is looking for a motivated, customer focused individual to join the Customer Services team. The role involves supporting citizens and visitors, answering enquiries, raising service requests, completing applications and signposting to appropriate services. Communication skills and the ability to handle a diverse range of customers in a fast paced environment are key.
Responsibilities- Answer customer enquiries over the telephone, e mail and face to face at the customer service centre.
- Raise and manage service requests and complete applications where required.
- Deliver excellent customer service consistently and uphold the Council's high standard service delivery.
- Work effectively as part of a busy team and handle pressures in a timely manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in a call centre or similar environment is desirable.
- Ability to manage a diverse range of customer interactions.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
