Your New Role

As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be part of an international team that's responsible for contacting suppliers on behalf of our clients. You'll request and verify financial statements, ensuring that outstanding payments are properly checked and recovered. You'll mainly work with Dutch clients, but will be part of a global operation, using our in-house software and communicating professionally by phone and email. Your daily tasks will include:

• Reaching out to suppliers to request financial statements and verify information, mainly through phone and e-mail.
• Processing received data and updating our systems accurately. Your findings will provide valuable input for our Audit team, to analyze potential claims.
• Collaborating closely with the Audit team and learning about financial processes.

Therefore, we look for someone who is eager to learn, has a proactive mindset, and strong communication skills. Next to that:

• You have a bachelor-level degree or equivalent thinking and working ability.
• You speak Dutch and English fluently (any additional language is a plus!).
• You're organized, have an eye for detail, adaptable, and enjoy working with data and people.
• You have some experience in customer support or administration.
• A basic understanding of administration (AP/AR) is helpful but not required.
• You live in the Amsterdam area and can work at least 50% from the office.
