Customer Service Assistant - Manchester, Circle Square
Hourly Rate: £13.45
Contract: Permanent, 20 hours per week
Working Hours: Varied shift patterns, between 6am - 10pm; flexibility required
Vita Student's next-level apartment design offers a variety of studios to suit residents' lives with the privacy of living alone or the social experience of living together. We offer style, luxury and comfort to our residents and are looking for a Customer Service Assistant to deliver a luxury, home-from-home experience for our students.
Responsibilities- Front of House / Reception: greet and welcome students and guests with a warm, friendly attitude.
- Be on hand to answer questions that may arise.
- Ensure facilities are looked after respectfully by residents and guests.
- Maintain the upkeep of the premium site and facilities; communal areas cleaned and maintained to a high standard at all times.
- Deliver solutions to issues or challenges that may arise.
- Conduct block walks every 4-6 hours surveying and reporting on each area of the building.
- Replenish refreshment stock (coffee beans, tea bags, milk, vending machine items).
- Manage and store parcels correctly to allow students easy access to deliveries.
- Be the primary point of contact for any incident or emergency on site.
- Maintain waste management areas, adhering to health and safety regulations; address/clean/tidy/reorganise hazards as required.
- An experienced customer service professional, skilled at delivering premium experiences to customers.
- Hands-on, proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety of communal areas (not solely cleaners).
- Technologically astute; able to navigate a variety of software and systems used in operations.

- Excellent communication skills; English is the primary language, with multilingual abilities welcomed.
- Strong organisational and leadership qualities with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Adaptability, creativity and positivity.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, with reasonable adjustments where required.
- Flexibility: facilities are open 24/7, 356 days a year including bank holidays; time off for festive or religious celebrations can be accommodated where possible, but availability is imperative to ensure continuous service.
