As a Customer Service Agent based in Coventry, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, resolving queries and delivering high-quality support. This full time, temporary role offers hybrid remote working and a salary between £27,000 and £29,000 per annum. You will work on a rota covering weekdays between 7am and 7pm, plus weekends from 7am to 3pm. After training, weekend shifts are completed from home.
Key skills include strong communication, problem solving, and flexibility to manage varying shift patterns. This position suits someone who enjoys helping others and maintaining service standards within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Handle customer enquiries in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
- Respond to enquiries relating to deliveries and services.
- Accurately log and categorise customer interactions using internal systems.
- Complete customer verification and security checks.
- Triage customer queries and escalated complex issues to the Customer Support Specialist team where appropriate.
- Take ownership of customer queries through to resolution.
- Work towards individual and team KPI targets.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions, contributing positively to the team.
- Promote and demonstrate the company's core values.
- Be flexible and support the wider team with additional tasks as required by management.
- Proven experience in a customer support or customer service role, or experience as a Client Service Representative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A customer focused approach with the ability to adapt your communication style to suit different customers.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good computer literacy, including experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- A professional, flexible, driven, and positive attitude.
- The ability to remain organised and self disciplined while working under pressure.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
