Customer Service Administrator

Are you a strong administrator with a Customer Service bias looking for your next opportunity as Hello Recruitment have just taken on an opportunity with an International Science & Technology business based in Milton Keynes where you can show your skills, be a key member of the Customer Service team and work in a warm and friendly professional office environment where the focus is to maximise the customer service experience at all times.
In this fully based office role where you will be at the heart of a dedicated and professional team, your duties will include:
- Manage and respond to customer enquiries received via email and Zendesk, ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained.
- Coordinate and schedule preventative maintenance visits and reactive repair calls for field service engineers.
- Order parts required for service visits, monitor delivery progress, and ensure goods are accurately booked into SAP upon receipt.
- Prepare and issue quotations for chargeable and non-contract service visits.
- Maintain calibration records for service and test equipment, ensuring all calibrations remain current and compliant.
- Raise and process work orders to support engineer service activities.
- Maintain the Engineer Locator system, ensuring engineer locations, availability, and schedules are accurate and up to date.
- Liaise with engineers, customers, and internal departments to ensure service activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Service Administration function.
- Develop knowledge across Service Administration and Sales Administration activities to provide effective holiday and absence cover across the team.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and enthusiastic administrator at that point in their career where they are keen to play a key part in delivering exceptional customer service to a wide network of clients and get a buzz from delivering exceptional customer service to them.
You will have a good working knowledge of SAP and strong MS Word & Excel skills and previously been an integral part of a busy working environment where you have contributed to a team in a positive and successful way showing good communication skills both verbal and written, prioritising workload, whilst retaining strong attention to detail and above all a positive attitude at all times.
