Customer Relationship Consultant

Job Details

• Hours: 21.45 hours per week over 3 days (part time, permanent)
• Salary: £26,750 pro rata per annum
• Closing date: Thu, 18 Jun 2026
• Location: Wilmslow branch & occasionally Warrington branch

Key Responsibilities

• Engage customers in face to face, virtual or telephone interactions to understand their financial goals and identify needs.
• Deliver information about savings, products and services, and guide customers to suitable solutions.
• Conduct "My Review" appointments and use this to discuss customers' financial objectives.
• Proactively contact customers over the phone to discuss requirements.
• Educate customers on multiple communication channels available to interact with the Society.
• Maintain accurate customer records in internal systems and ensure vulnerable customers are supported appropriately.
• Adhere to policies, standards, controls and limits of authority, supported by training, coaching and communication.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous customer facing experience (banking, building society, contact centre, retail, food & beverage, hospitality, health/care acceptable).
• Demonstrated passion for delivering exceptional service and a willingness to go above and beyond.
• Strong communication skills, ability to influence diverse audiences.
• Excellent time management and ability to work well in a team, especially during busy periods.
• Adaptable, proactive, and open to a broad range of activities beyond standard expectations.
